Die while using electric isosceles, Game over

(on Nintendo Switch) Used an electric isosceles while trying to escape from a crocodog attack on a surfboard with Walani. Got killed by a bite from a crocodog AFTER activating the electric isosceles. Dropped all possessions on the triangle. 

Came back in a touch stone, dead, lying down, flickering and slightly skating around like I was still being transported in the electric isosceles... Never stood up, the character never became playable again. I could open inventory (empty). I could open crafting menu, but not craft anything. Interestingly, I watched through a whole day/night cycle. While sanity went down during the night (due to being in full darkness, I assume) Charlie never attacked the "dead" body. I have video of it but it's a long video.

Despite the touch stone, game was unplayable after that.
