Chester duplicated when I left the caves (BETA)

The title describes the issue quite well. When I left the caves, a chester followed me, but to my surprise chester had no items in him. I went back into the caves and there was another chester, with my items in him. He wasn't bound to my eye bone, instead he bounced around aimlessly.

I assume this is similar to how followers could follow you between dlcs, although this is just speculation.

Steps to Reproduce

I have no clue, all I know is that I left the caves and then it happened.

This bug happened to me today. So it's still happening even after the beta.

(side note: he only duplicates for me after i go to the ruins and then hamlet. the new chesters have the same loot one of them had in the ruins.)
