Saving in adventure mode causes the save to become corrupted, and the game errors on start up until the save is removed through system settings.
The game crashed and deleted all of my previous saves as well as character unlock progress, and now I can't get Wes and Maxwell back until this is fixed. 
Please help.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Go through Maxwell's door in regular mode (base DS with no expansions).
2. Save an adventure mode game
3. Wait until the next real-world calendar day
4. Try to open Don't Starve
