Xbox controller buttons detection problem after creating Beefalo bond

When using an xbox controller, Just after using the bell for creating a bond with a beefalo, some buttons stop working while the game is running (The D-pad, the LB button and the RB button). The strange thing is that, even if the buttons dont work thoughout the game, they actually do it in the game menu (the one that appears when you press start or the Esc key).
