WX-78 drones causing? tamed beefalo attacks to deal zero damage/ 'miss' while holding F.

Recently I've noticed my beefalo is often 'missing' and dealing zero damage even when standing right next to the enemy and no movement is happening, attack animation is happening. I've only noticed it post WX-78 update patch after taming beefalo's almost every time I play.- which leads me to believe it might be Wx-78's drones slightly blocking pathing making this occur? Otherwise no idea what is going on here.

Attaching a video to show; Orny beefalo Vs a hound should only take 3 hits to kill (as seen as I kill the first few); but in video the last hound takes over 10 auto attacks and is still alive- only died after I moved a bit and attacked from another angle (not in video sorry)

Steps to Reproduce

Inconsistent.

I've noticed it on WX-78 when drones are out; not sure if this is actually a factor or not.

Riding a tamed beefalo in combat holding F, occasionally attack animation will spam without doing any damage to the target. It 'feels' like it is due to the beefalo attacking while being out of range of the target; and that maybe the drones are blocking pathing ever so slightly?

rewatching the video the drones really don't seem to be in the way at all; so probably unrelated to WX-78 and drones; and just a generalised beefalo bug that I've somehow not noticed before

This is not generalised beefalo bug. As i said, you have Spin-Cycle circuit and axe equipped this is exactly the reason. Try to equip another item which is not used with spin-cycle circuit and there will be no bug with attack.
