Hello. I have an issue with Wortox in Don’t Starve Together on Steam. I bought Wortox a long time ago and used to play him online without any problems. Now, when I select Wortox on character select screen and start the world, the game always spawns me as Wilson instead. This happens even in a brand new world.
I have already tried:
Verifying game files in Steam
Reinstalling the game.
Deleting game cache and local files.
Disabling all mods and trying on a clean client.
Playing in online mode on Steam.
Wortox is visible as owned in my Steam account and in-game. Other things seem to work fine.
In my client_log.txt I noticed that the game starts with an Offline user ID instead of a normal online user. I suspect that because of this, the game treats me as an offline user and does not allow me to actually use my paid character, even though I am playing through Steam and online.
Could you please check my account / Steam link and explain why the game is creating an Offline user ID for me and not letting me play as Wortox, even though I own the character?

Changed: I noticed that the same thing happens not only with Characters, but also with Clothing.

Launch Steam in online mode.

Launch Don’t Starve Together from Steam.

From the main menu, host a new online world (no mods required, bug also happens without mods).

On the character select screen, choose Wortox and confirm.

Wait for the world to load.
Expected result: I should spawn as Wortox.
Actual result: The game always spawns me as Wilson instead of Wortox.
