Winter’s Feast event causes all creatures (including bosses) to drop corpse visuals

After enabling the Winter’s Feast seasonal event, my world entered a broken state where ALL creatures, including normal mobs (e.g. spiders, werepigs) and bosses (e.g. Klaus), leave a corpse-like visual  and  scavenger vulture (ice/crystal themed) spawn.

This happens even when the player stays nearby and occurs 100% of the time for any creature death

This is NOT limited to Winter’s Feast themed creatures.
Bosses such as Klaus are also affected, which should never happen under normal logic.

That's how it should be. It starts working after the lunar rifts are activated.

But it didn't happen before  the Winter's Feast event. The lunar rifts was activated long before the  Halloween and no scavenger vulture spawned before that event. So I was really confused

It's part of the update that also enabled Winter's Feast, but it's a game update on its own. Like how the Crystal-Crested Buzzards were introduced during Hallowed Nights, it got some people confused about it being part of Hallowed Nights, too. So, can't really blame you!

Thank you for your explanation, I get it now. Such an annoying update T T
