wildfire while on the edge of the oasis

hello,

I discovered a bug yesterday while playing during summer on a new world.
My oasis is on the edge of the continent. While using my kitchen, my twigs all burnt.

After some back and forth, I discovered if I stand at the very edge of the land, the sandstorm stops so it's not registered as the desert (right?) and I think that's why the wildfire appeared. Attached are screenshots of my world and me standing where I think there should be a sandstorm.
