Wigfrig can't repair the Elding Spear although it has the lance upgrade

I have been playing with wigfrig and for some reason when I dash, the spear is not repaired, I have read many forums and watched many videos, but none of them give me the solution, it makes no sense because in the skillstree it says that it should be repaired...

Steps to Reproduce

1.Upgrade the Elding Spear with the Enchancement 1.

2.Try to repair the lance with the dash vs an enemy.

3.The spear is not repaired.

You need to learn Elding Spear Enhancement II as well, and the spear itself has to be powered with a Restrained Static (drag the static onto the spear and click, spear must not be equipped). Only then will the spear restore durability on dash hits.

Yeah, the in-game descriptions for elding spear enchancement skills could be clearer.
