For example, if you have a living merm king in the caves, the buffs given by him are properly applied to you and all merms in the caves. Once you travel to the forest, however, suddenly neither you or any of the merms in the forest shard receive ANY of the effects of having a merm king in the server, despite there being a currently living one. In this scenario, The forest shard is the master shard, and the caves shard is a secondary shard. I first encountered this bug while playing in a 4-shard Island adventures server of my own. When I had the merm king present in the islands shard, I would receive none of the buffs he provides whenever I travelled to any other shard other than the islands, and before someone asks, no, this is NOT an island adventures exclusive bug nor is it caused by it. I tested it in a fully standard server with NO mods enabled and the bug still occured whenever I left the caves. The only "solution" I managed to find is using a certain string of console commands to "force" the shard I am currently in to artificially give me all the buffs I'm supposed to be receiving. This would have to be done whenever I would rejoin the server or roll back, which is far from ideal.
Create and have a currently living king of the merms in the caves shard while playing as wurt, then travel to the forest shard. You will notice all the stat buffs you were receiving while in the caves are no longer given.
