Hello Klei team,
Whenever I launch Don’t Starve Together (build 665003, Steam, 64-bit) I get the yellow “Warning – Your game has recently crashed because of a mod conflict” window.
Clicking “Disable Mods” or “OK” simply restarts the client and the same Warning appears again, so I can never reach the main menu.
What I have already tried
-
Removed every mod
-
Unsubscribed all items in Steam Workshop
-
Deleted these folders manually:
-
…\steamapps\workshop\content\322330\* -
…\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods\* -
Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\mods\*
-
-
-
Renamed
Documents\Kleito force the game to create a completely fresh profile. -
Verified game files (0 files replaced) and fully re-installed DST.
-
Launch options tested:
-disablemods,-force-d3d11,-force-opengl. -
Disabled overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience) and Windows “Controlled Folder Access”.
-
Re-installed VC++ 2015-2022 (x64) and tried an older NVIDIA driver (551.86).
Despite all this, the Warning window still appears, and the latest client_log.txt shows that the game tries to load workshop folders such as workshop-2391246365, which no longer exist anywhere on disk:
Request
Could you advise how to fully clear any hidden mod references or diagnose why the Warning loop persists?
I have attached the fresh client_log.txt and DxDiag report.
Thank you very much for your help!
