Wanda lose sanity even not getting benifit from bat bat and Shadow Maul

I believed that bat bat's design is "lose sanity to regen health". But to Wanda, she has a "age" badge instead of health, and cannot regen with bat bat. But why she still lose sanity? I think it might be a bug. The same thing happens to her when it comes to shadow maul.
