Trying to launch game but crashes as the window tries to load

I'm trying to launch the game through Steam but I'll press the "play" button and a window titled "Don't Starve Together" will pop up but be completely black. It will stay for a couple seconds before closing. The "stop" button will turn back to "play" as if I exited the game myself.

Before it stopped working, my computer had a hard shutdown due to a completely dead battery. The game was running at that point. I wonder if something went wrong there. Please help, all I want to do is play this game again.

There wasn't a MDMP file I could find

Thank you for providing the log file. Based on it, it seems your profile save file has been corrupted. This file contains data like your game settings and other client information.

Deleting the file %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\{NUMBER_SEQUENCE}\client_save\profile would fix this. Please note this will reset your game settings.

Changed Status to Can't Reproduce
