Too many tree guards

I know this isn't a problem but why is it that tree guards spawning too much to the point where I had to turn them off and then still a mini one spawns why is this happening to me ;-; please if there are any tips to stop this cause the settings obviously aren't helping me. I think it might be the fact I chop like 3 stacks of wood in the first 10 days but still ppl are complaining of 200 trees being chopped and no sign and for me its only 50-60 trees and they spawn.
