Thermal stones do not take advantage of the insulation from players' clothes, which means there is currently no difference whether you wear a beefalo hat, when you've already had a thermal stone with you.
Steps to Reproduce
bring a thermal stone, and count the time it takes for a player to become cold with or without a beefalo hat and a hibernation vest. Notice that there is no time difference.
