The game loads entities of us back when we were leaving the caves, changing our stats and inventories to the old ones

I am playing with a friend of mine. I am in Europe, and he is in the USA. About 1-2 days ago (in-game time) we were retreating from the caves, because we didn't manage to properly assault spiders to get to the next section of the dungeon, this resulted in us getting significantly beaten by the shadow creatures. Luckily I managed to retreat (Warly), but my friend (Wendy) wasn't so lucky so he left the caves as a ghost. I had very low hp, but managed to beat the shadow monster, restore full sanity, hp, and hunger, and then resurrect my friend.

We decided to jump back into the caves so we could get his items and the flower of Abigail. Unfortunately when my friend jumps in the caves game immediately kills him and teleports far away from the entrance to his old death spot, and when I jump in the caves the game returns all my inventory, HP, hunger, and sanity to the values that were mine before I exited the cave upstairs to the land 1-2 days ago.

So, for example, I had watermelon on my head and full hp, sanity, and a lot of hunger, when just entered, the inventory was removed and turned into the old one (to the one you can see on the screenshot), and the same with values of hunger, hp, and sanity, (about 30 each or so). When I go back to the land again after that, I am not getting my old equipment with which I entered and my old 200 hunger and hp values, and when I just go in again after that it still gives me the same exact state with the same items (on the screenshot) - it makes the game unplayable. I reloaded the server 3 times to 1 day ago state, but the bag persisted.

Important to note that before in the same save, we already entered the caves and exited and we didn't have such problems.
