It seems that if you touch the terrarium in the overworld and stay in the caves for the whole night, the terrarium shoots its beam into the sky, just like if The Eye of Terror was about to spawn, but it never spawns. Even in the next night it never spawns. And yet, it still emites light and you can do nothing about it. You do not have the option to interact with it in any way, the only thing that you can do, is examine it. This gives both infinite light, but also makes it impossible to get any of the loot from the Eyes.
Steps to Reproduce
Touch the terrarium before night, then go into the caves until the day is over. Sometimes there is the "You feel an evil presence watching you" alert, but I'm not sure when or why it shows up.
