Suspicious Dirt Piles disappearing

Hello,

yesterday while playing DST with a friend we tried to hunt a Koalefant down, but each Suspicious dirt pile we investigated disappeared with a telepoof effect, instead of leading to the next track. Every dirt pile we interacted with, it just disappeared.
