Hi, I used the message in a bottle to uncover the emplacement if a treasure but the map icon disappeared.
I played only solo (cracked pearl given back) and just logged off. When I got back, the icon on the map wasn't here anymore.
I believe I had all 10 sunken chests (undiscovered) spawned at the time.
To my surprise, when I recounted after loging back and getting the sunken chest closest to me, there was chests missing on my map.
So when I used a new bottle, it showed me one than I already knew about but it was missing on my map after loging back. Felt like I was going crazy.
My theory is that the chest was spawned initialy with a message in a bottle, it stayed there when I re-loged but my map didn't remember that.
Have all 10 sunken chests active (maybe idk) so 10 icons around the map
log out, log back in
check map
1, 2 or more have gone missing
