Stuck behind pillar in caves

My character somehow ended up on the very corner ledge in a cave while riding a beefalo... dismounted and now I can't go anywhere, the character just bugs in place. Also the beefalo floats away, walking on air. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting... don't want to roll back due to game progress but unsure what else to do :/
