Below 30℃ below the ambient temperature, it turns ice blue. At this time, it is a -10℃ cold source.

And each time it changes from red or ice blue to gray, it consumes its durability once.

That's why they break down so quickly, but it seems reasonable. The frequent thermal expansion and contraction in reality itself can cause great damage to objects like stones, which can be regarded as quite scientific.
