Spools are suddenly gone.

Hello,

I've been playing Don't Starve together for a while and had unraveled a number of items into spools. I recently decided to start playing again but I found that the spools was reset to zero. I still have left over items in my item collection. To try and fix it I unraveled an item but my total spools is now only 15 (the value of the item)

Any advice on what can be done with this?
