Hi, seeing a lot of people complaining not being able to play with the workshop error that is currently going on.
Here is a solution for you : turning your "workshop mods" into "local mods" :
First you need to check where your workshop mods are downloaded, usually its in : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\322330 for DST (personally its on my D drive). Make sure your are subscribed to all the mods you need.
You will have a folder for each mods.
For exemple the folder 345692228 is the mod named Minimap HUD
To solve the name just add the numbers of your mod folders to this address on your browser : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=345692228
To keep track on the process i suggest you to replace the numbers on each folders to the name of the mod
When you are done renaming, go to the following folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods (still D drive for me) it should be like that.
Cut/Paste all your renamed folders you've done to this location, open each folder and make sure there is no .bin file alone.
If thats the case, you will need to extract the files from it with winrar for exemple.
Once it's done for all of your mods, go to your steam profil by just clicking on your name, then on the right "My workshop", then "Subscribed items".
Personally i choosed to put every mod in my favorite list to make sure i dont forget one and keep track on everything. Then you will need to unsubscribe to all the mods you have.
Once it's done you can launch the game, go to mods and see if they are all there.
