Not sure if it's just shattered spiders but haven't tested with any others. I jumped on a boat to grab an ice bream while a couple shattered spiders were following me, and they just disappeared (leaving only their shadow) and were unable to move or do anything until I used a trap on them.
Steps to Reproduce
Lead some shattered spiders onto a boat.
