GhostZX
  • Can't Reproduce

When any character chop the tree (not Wormwood), and Wormwood in near, server shutdown. I think that the bug is in Wormwood sanity draining. When Wormwood is chopping trees bug doesn't appears.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a server with default settings and caves. 2. Join to the server. 3. Second player join to the server. 4. First player choose a character anyone except Wormwood. 5. Second player choose Wormwood. 6. First players crafts "Axe". 7. First player start chopping tree until it fall down. Actual result: Server shutdown Expected result: Tree fall's down and Wormwood loss sanity.

User Feedback

Hi, I see this topic is kinda old already but I'm still having this very issue.

I am playing with like 30 mods in a world hosted on my PC and am playing Wormwood with friends without any issue.

However I tried to play Wormwood on friends' worlds who have less mods than I do and none I do not have installed in my world, and the server crashes everytime I (Wormwood) am near a tree that dies for any reason ( fire, chopping, Rook taking it down, Deerclops or Bearger destroying it ...). And it does happen in the caves aswel with any tree including mush trees.

So I'd add the following steps to reproduce the bug :

- Find one friend to play with

- Host a game on one of the players PC  (not a dedicated server)

- The host may chose any character except Wormwood, the "friend" may chose Wormwood

- The host may destroy a tree in any way possible (chop, fire, Rook etc) while being seen on Wormwood's screen

Expected result : server should crash as soon as the tree's status changes (burnt, chopped etc) and relaunching it should roll it back to the start of current day.

I hope this bug comes from one of the mods my friends and I use (which are very popular ones, can give the list if asked) , if not I do hope this post helps.
