The issue happens on OpenSUSE Leap 15.2. It works fine on my other computer running OS Tumbleweed.
This shows up in the log file whenever I hit refresh:
[00:00:21]: CURL ERROR: (d2fr86khx60an2.cloudfront.net) Failed sending HTTP request [00:00:21]: Failed to retrieve server listings
Starting the game and getting logged in works. I can enter servers and play by joining a friend through Steam.
Some research I've done:
Running "curl d2fr86khx60an2.cloudfront.net":

wget returns the server list. Running curl with the "-L" flag (curl -L d2fr86khx60an2.cloudfront.net) also returns the server list.
I tried putting a .curlrc file in my $HOME folder with "-L" inside it. Running curl without -L now retrieves the server list but it still does not work in-game.
