[RE-REPORT*2] A recurring bug of wood gates on a rotated boat completely messing up after saving and restarting the server

As the title suggests, a boat rotated by rudder(s) before will mess up all wood gates on it after saving and reloading the server, causing them to change direction and potentially causing double gates to lose their pairings as well.

Edit: @Klei_Marcushi and sorry to bother you, as I've tested in update 514299, the bug was fixed as the changelog mentions, but in update 514408 all parts of it just reappeared. I believe this needs a further fix.

Steps to Reproduce

Step 1. build a boat and build a rudder on it. Rotate the boat for a few seconds and stop.

Step 2. place wood gate(s) on the boat. As image 1 shows, I placed two pairs of double gates of different directions on the boat.

Step 3. save and reload the server. As image 2 shows, the gates changed their directions and appears to be very messed up. Note that try to place as many gates as possible to fully observe this faulty behavior. The gates may change their conditions with every save&reload. If your gate don't appear to be glitched, save&load another time and it will be. In another hand, already glitched gates may glitch their directions again after another save&reload.

Step 4. open your double gates if you've placed any. The connection between the gates may break and when attempted to open, only one gate will be affected.

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Thanks for reporting this! The doors should appear in the correct orientation as of 514408, but it looks like at certain boat rotated angles, some double gates won't open properly.

We're working on a fix to hopefully resolve this. As a sort-of-workaround, rotating the boat to a different angle can sometimes allow the gates to open properly.
