The problem is as follows.
I connect to my world in Don't Starve Together (it doesn't matter if it's online or offline), and as soon as I leave somewhere, I'm teleported back.
P.S. I have an iMac with mac OS Sequoia 15.4

Steps to Reproduce

1) Updated iMac to mac OS Sequoia 15.4
2) Launched Steam, launched Don't Starve Together
3) Launched the world of Don't Starve

wait, is this bug because of the macOS 15.4 update? I was blaming it upon the internet... first time ever trying to play dst :(

Charactors can move after turning off Delay Compensation, yet this would result in no respond of mouse and touch pad clicks.

I have encountered the same problem. I can be sure that it is caused by the macos update, and I continue to conduct complex tests.

If the cave is generated, there will definitely be a delay problem.

If the cave is not generated, there will be no delay, but there will be a delay problem with friends who join in.

If you join someone else's server, the same problem will occur.

Even if it is offline mode, this delay problem will still occur.

My girlfriend has left me because she can't play games with me. I hope to solve this problem as soon as possible thx

I have similar issue after macOS 15.4 update.

Once I start my game and hit any of the WASD buttons - character start moving to the selected direction and continues to move even if I release the button.

And mouse doesn't work in the world. I can't click anything exception crafting menu, map etc.

I tried to reset my controls but it didn't helped.

I have set Lag compensation to None, If I select "Predictive" then my character just "flows" to the right without animation.

This seems to be an issue with the mac os update. I've been having the same problem on the mac os beta for quite a long time now. Here's a link to the thread related to that:

I don't know of a fix.

Klei please somebody to fix this. Same probelem.  Terrible, unplayable, tried all sorts of methods, like uninstalling and redownlowding.

Just tried to start a new server without the cave, it works!!! So it's definitely because of the cave.

Not only its unplayable right now with Sequoia, but since it release games been laggy, I think this is Apple's thing to fix bc this version is a mess or idk, its been horrible since they released macos 15, maybe we should downgrade and go back to monkey

we can only possibly look to the game devs for trying to make things work cos apple doesnt give a flying dookie about supporting apps outside the App Store. Especially games, cos they care even less about games.

Until then, caveless worlds it is...

Heya, I managed to find the reason it's broken on Sequoia and detailed it on another bug posting:

Tl;dr; something in latest Sequoia 15.4 now has a different idea how text should be sorted, this seems to be relied on by the game, and it messed up its internal logic for RPC codes. A DST server cannot understand what a Mac DST client is telling it is doing, so your Mac DST character gets rubberbanded back because the server doesn't understand you moved at all and "corrected" your location to avoid a desync. This happens locally too because even a local game uses the same RPC code logic (I think). There is a workaround you can do on client side to repair this I detailed in that post but I don't know how to condense the steps to be really simple and fool-proof. With some effort a mod could be done that fixes it with the click of a button, but I'm hoping Klei gets this on their radar instead and will issue a proper fix into the game.
