Pirate Maps are the only paper item that cannot be erased at a Cartographer's Desk for Papyrus.

I believe this falls under the category of "bug" even if it's technically an oversight. Items made of paper can be erased at a cartographer's desk to give 1 papyrus, like blueprints, scrapbook pages, recipe cards, etc, but this does not apply to Pirate Maps, the prompt does not show up and they cannot be erased to create papyrus.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to erase a pirate map like you would other paper items.

Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Player crafted maps are also unable to be erased
would be nice to have changed just to keep it consistent

Battle Calls, Map Scrolls, Research Notes and Pirate Maps will now be erasable in the next update - not in the next hotfix!
