In Daywalker's 3rd phase, he has no stalk cooldown and should stalk the player instead of performing pounce attacks (unless he has been stalking for several seconds). However, seemingly randomly he will do a pounce attack instead of stalking, as shown here at 1:50:
Steps to Reproduce
- Get daywalker to 5000-3000 hp
- When daywalker does a slam attack, attack him to force him to dodge
- Repeat step 2 until he randomly does a pounce attack instead of stalking
