over 15 Pure Brilliance items(not stacked) will cause crash

我正在用我的手杖解构我的光明护甲。我在解构了第 7 个或第 8 个亮色盔甲后,游戏崩溃了。纯粹的光辉变得太亮了,然后游戏就崩溃了。我可以毫无问题地解构图卢石套装,甚至同时解构 100 套。我认为游戏中纯粹的光彩图标或图形有问题,它比燃烧的物品占用更多的CPU或GPU。我的电脑是9700k,1600ti。我在我的世界里测试过,烧1600+鳄梨没有问题,服务器只是变红,另外3个人大约10秒不能动。请修复纯粹亮度的图标或图表。 

 

补充:我只是仔细观察了纯光辉,放在地上时有太多闪亮的部分。 

这不是模组问题。 

这不是一个开始游戏就解决的问题。

Steps to Reproduce

Could you upload a log from the instance that crashed? If it is a client crash where the game quits to desktop it would be your client_log.txt and donotstarvetogether_client.dmp files. It is a server_log.txt file if the server disconnects you back to the game's main menu. A helper article to find these files is at https://support.klei.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029881191-Logs-and-Useful-Information-for-Bug-Reports-for-Don-t-Starve-Together and the dmp file will be next to client_log.txt

The log is saying that the server quit so I will need for you to try to find your server_log.txt file for the server instance that crashed if you are not sure which cluster it is you can find it by clicking the wrench icon at the right side of the server list when you see all of your worlds.

Then clicking the bottom button to open a window pointing to your Master folder.

Inside of Master will be the server_log.txt file that I would like for you to upload here.

I'm not sure why the page became some weird chinese translations. 

here is my original post. 

I was deconstructing my Brightshade Armor using my staff. and I the game crashed after I deconstructed the 7 or 8th of that brightshade armor. the pure brilliance goes toooo bright, then the game crashed. I have no problem deconstructing thulecite suits, even 100 of them together in the same time. I think the pure brilliance icon or graph in the game has a problem, it take too much CPU or GPU than the burning items. my PC is 9700k witha 1660ti.I have tested in my world, it has no problem burning 1600+ avocados, the server just goes red, and the other 3 people cannot move for about 10s. plz fix the icon or the graph of the pure brilliance.



add: I just take a close look at the pure brilliance, it has too much shinning part when puting it on the ground.

it's not a mod problem.

it's not a started the game solved problem.

This log is implying that it is the client crashing which is conflicting with the prior log. Could you recreate the issue and upload both the client_log.txt and server_log.txt files after it happens?

I followed your ask and repeat the process to get it cserver_log.txtrashed. here is the files u may needserver_log_2024-02-18-00-30-45.txt

again, I don't think the game can handle more Pure Brilliance. they should, just like other items.

Thank you this issue is coming from one of your mods that is changing the target of the deconstruct target to an old reference. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1378549454 The Deconstruction Staff's target is changing inside of a function from this mod to an old item. Please try this with a new world with no mods on the server to see if you can replicate this issue you can spawn in the items needed with the console commands below.

hail lord JesseB_klei. you are right! i closed it on my server. it's fine now!!!!!!! i deconstructed about 20 armors, and it has no problems anymore!!!!!!!! thank you for saving my 3068 days of mega world. !!!!

he is not innocent. I closed the API mod and everthing good now. so, with the API mod, I made 10 brilliance armor and place them on the ground. since it is summer, I place a cold star near me. :) them I started deconstructed the armor to get double items drop. it will all froze the screen and all movements. then lost connect. my character is wonda.

There may be some side effects somewhere with the mods and setup but the logs point to the gemdictionary changing the target parameter to an invalid entity reference. Target changes from 160767 to 160696 inside of the gemdictionary part of the mod. I will be closing the report due to me not being able to replicate this in a non mod setup and the bug reporter claiming things are working when the mod is turned off. I have forwarded the thread to the mod author to look over if they want to do more investigation into the matter.
