Nightmare Werepig stop dashing on phase 2

As wurt i use merms to help on the fight but when the nightmare werepig reaches threshold that he start punching the ground it stops to dash and only and absolutelly only punches the ground and keep healing himself. Sometimes he go away as if he was going to dash just to keep a walking stance and healing himself, and if i get close again he start to punch the ground. Idk if this is suposed to happen knowing his mechanic of exaustion. Maybe it's just a interaction with merms and don't having them as target idk but it's kinda anoying fighting him this way cause of the slow of slamed ground. The only way to make him stop is reseting the fight, also recovering all the hp he lost.

 

Steps to Reproduce

Pick merms enough to make nightmare werepig to start slam the ground, and if the merms die and just last Wurt he'll start this behaviour.

he's supposed to only use slam during phase 2, that's intended, you need to get him into phase 3 by putting him at 3k or less hp for him to start using the lunge again, you're supposed to make him break the pillars by using the slam on them while he's in phase 2 and keep walking around him to avoid the slam after that

ohh i really thought that he alternates between the slam and dash. Thank you!!

you can force the dash attack during  phase 2 by hitting it with a ranged attack like a boomerang, ice staff or fire staff. Something ranged to force it. Other commenter is right though. It’s primarily the slam attack for phase 2
