This is all in the beta branch.
When in the sandstorm in summer wearing a brightshade helm, if you use a mooncaller staff, the sandstorm effect will come back as if you weren't wearing the brightshade helm. The sandstorm protection comes back when you unequip the mooncaller staff.
I don't know if this is also the case for the starcaller staff, other sandstorm protection items, or the moonstorm.
I found this from Jazzy's stream, so I haven't tested it myself and don't have logs of the issue. However, the issue seems pretty consistent and easy to reproduce.
Go in the beta branch. Wear a brightshade helm in the sandstorm during summer. Equip and cast a mooncaller staff (only tested with the prismatic skin, which is the mooncaller version of the radiant starcaller).
If reproduced correctly, you shouldn't have sandstorm protection anymore, as it you had unequipped the brightshade helm, even though you still have it on.
