Mods not working.

When I download a mod, it shows up as a corrupted workshop file, and to get it to work I have to drag it from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\Workshop\Content\322330, to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods. And even when I do that, the mods show up as local and all my friends have to download them too, plus it clutters up my mods menu with blank "workshop-(mod id)" files. I've tried adding it to my antivirus exclusion, running steam as admin, running DST as admin, and adding it to controlled folder access. The thing is, it works on all laptops I've seen. Such as my very own and my friends. But for me and my other friend on PC, It doesn't. Another strange thing is that in my server mods page in DST, all the corrupted files show up. But in the client mods page, its all just normal unglitched mods!

Steps to Reproduce

I have no idea, when I just, got the game I guess, it just has been like this. I have a strange feeling it might be a computer quirk not letting my mods go to the right folder or something, so I changed my windows 10 account to administrator and nothing has changed.
