There's currently a bug with the maul where it only takes 5 bosses to reach final level. And killing 3 bosses is enough for reaching lvl 2:
Which makes me suspect the point is doubled somehow.
Steps to Reproduce
Just kill 5 bosses.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
