Lunar nights not being a full moon

So I assembled all 3 altars and started the lunar storms at day 856, it was working just fine. However fast forward to ~day 880, the lunar nights are no longer full moons. It randomly stopped being a full moon, but a regular night except with gestalts and lunacy. After this happened, I let the game crash when I noticed spoiled fish don't drain my sanity as Wurt, though it still wasn't a full moon.
