Linux Native is unable to use the TextCompleter in debug console or chat

Under the Linux Native version of Don't Starve Together on Steam, typing a partial command like c_super for c_supergodmode() will display the correct text suggestion result, but will not allow you to use said result via the hotkey. Under the Windows version of the game, Proton or real Windows 10, the TAB key works just fine for this purpose, as is hardcoded in scripts/util/TextCompleter.lua

I am not running any client or server mods, and I was unable to locate any relevant logs to assist in debugging this. The client and server logs both do not show anything when the bug occurs. I would prefer to run the native version of the game instead of Proton as it loads much much faster.

Game Version: Linux Native Release v593204 (64-bit) (Latest version as of 02/10/24 4:30 AM PDT)

OS: Kubuntu 22.04.3 LTS x86_64
Kernel: 6.5.0-17-generic
Shell: zsh 5.8.1
Resolution: 1920x1080, 1920x1080
Desktop Environment: Plasma 5.24.7
Window Manager: KWin
Theme: [Plasma], Breeze [GTK2/3]
Terminal: konsole
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (16) @ 3.700GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Rev. A
Memory: 16065MiB / 32010MiB

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Ensure you are running the Steam Linux Native version of the game (not Proton)
  2. Open the debug console (` by default)
  3. Type a partial command (c_super for c_supergodmode() for example)
  4. Press the TAB key to use the text completer suggestion
  5. Observe it not working as intended
