(Linux Mint) Extra Mouse buttons are not recognized by the game

I am using a mouse with extra buttons, which were recognized by the game when I was still playing on Windows.

After switching to Linux, the game does not recognize them anymore. I can't bind anything to them.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to bind any control to an extra mouse button(like Mouse4 or Mouse5) on a linux version of the game
