As the title says. Unlike other creatures that escape after being set on fire at home, if the monkey barrel is burned to ashes, the monkeys in it will also disappear together.Only by hammering it the monkey will come out.

Light the monkey barrel
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
