Inimical Gestalts still being an issue

My world still has inimical gestalts behaving as they did pre-hotfix. Always spawning in 4s or 3s with no cooldown. Its nice not having to fight bosses on my own initially but i have to keep a life giving amulet on me at all times. As they are able to one shot almost all characters with no armor. It is annoying to say the least. I've been told it is probably due to me killing celestial scion before the hotfix that nerfed/updated these inimical gestalts. Will you guys be able to do anything about it? Turned on 1 hit kill mode; quarter of a day, 16 pure brilliance obtained (1 pure brilliance every kill with a 20 percent chance for a second). They just keep respawning with no cooldown. Even in other old worlds (with friends) killing scion after that hotfix, they never respawn after the first one is killed. Perhaps Klei team could assist me in fixing this? Considering how they have been changed to not damage certain bosses (Only cc afaik. This change also applied to my world). I was hoping someone could possibly fix it. (was redirected here to reach out on this issue).

Be in enlightened areas or wear enlightened crown with 5 jewels.

I may have found the solution, having fixed the issue on someone else's world who had the exact same problem.

Please make a copy of your savefile before trying it, just in case!
The following debug command seems to work nicely to restore the spawning behaviour of inimicals:
(you need to be server host or server admin)

  • open console with ` button, make sure that console is set to 'remote' in lower left corner, (toggle with Ctrl button)
  • enter the following:
    TheWorld.components.brightmarespawner:Debug_SetSpawnPoolSize(0) c_announce("Done")
  • If it worked, it will send the message "Done" to the chat.

After killing or deleting the remaining gestalts, the spawning behaviour should revert to the game's default.

Thanks for the comment, it seems like it helped! I did not have to kill any since I did not spawn any before entering the command.

Hopefully those with this issue (while not many) find this thread and realise their gestalt problem is not an intended one!

(will come back to update if the issue pops back, hopefuly its normal for one to spawn daily though. which is what it does now).

Hmm, it still spawns up to 3, with each day spawning 1. Personally never see them respawn ever in fellow friends' servers ( moonstorm active + enlightened areas[lunar island])

edit: nope, still an issue. almost immediate respawning (to a cap of 3) as long 5 jewels in crown.
