When I logged into the game today my two mutated merms were still mutated. I was used to a disconnect making them normal. Hence I would disconnect to make them stop following me.
In my experience (but don’t know with this latest update) they don’t unfollow when you murder a fish. So I attacked one. He detransformed and did the cower animation (fish killed) then started walking home (let’s hope he doesn’t get stuck). I tried to do it on the last one. He kept running away so it was a bit difficult. Then when I hit him the game froze and I got disconnected (dedicated/hosted server).
Apparently This was because of an assertion error. See attachment from the server log.
- Get a mutated follower
- Attack them (this was with a beefalo if it matters)
- See if the same assertion is triggered
Might not be this straightforward since it didn’t happen with the first one?
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
