I can't find wonkey

I've unlocked wonkey in one of my worlds, yet I can't find him in my curio cabinet, or my item collection or anything, have I done something wrong? I haven't been told that you need to do anything other than unlock them in a world in my research so I can only assume this is a bug, if it isn't though would someone explain what I'm doing wrong

Steps to Reproduce

1. unlcok wonkey

2. check item collection

3. check curio cabinet

wonkey won't be there

Go to bugs

not sure but you can see if getting rid of the curse unlocks him in the curio cabinet
