I did this both during the full moon day that happens when you assemble the mysterious experiment and during the following full moon night when celestial champion was running around on the lunar island. I took the flower, killed Glommer and the spawning Krampii and relogged. The flower was back, the old flower was still wilted on the ground and Glommer was ready to be killed again. I did not test what happens when I don't pick the flower.
I saw found an old bug in 2017 where this was doable when you didn't pick the flower. That one is marked as fixed.
1. Start Celestial Champion Full Moon (Others might work as well, I only did this one).
2. Pick the Flower
3. Kill Glommer
3.1 Kill the Krampii and hope for Sack
4. Log out of the world and load into it again
5. Repeat step 2-4 onwards until you got what you needed
