Game won't play anymore

A couple days ago I opened Don't Starve Together and as my save was loading I got a popup that said something along the lines of the game being out of space. Then the game window went black and froze. I restarted the computer and since then anytime I try to open Don't Starve Together - either from steam itself or from start menu or from desktop - it'll open the screen up, then close the screen. When I click 'play' from steam, it opens, closes and then the button you click goes from 'stop' back to 'play'.

I'm not sure whats causing this - I still have over 350GB of space on my computer, I've uninstalled and reinstalled both steam and don't starve, deleted my mods, and uninstalled the other games I had on steam and nothing has changed.
