I went to the caves to gather some slurper pelts to make some super gastro circuits, when the great depth's worm spawned. About a minute into fighting it, my game freezes up. I thought it was a crash, but I still have loose control and can open the game menu and pull up this glitchy view of my plugged circuits. If I close and open the game again, the fight resumes for one minute, and then the game freezes again. I did check my computer's ram, memory, and the integrity of the files, and found no issues with them.
It was acid raining, and I was trying to get the worm to eat some shadow mask creatures to get it to stop moving long enough for me to attack. I was constantly swapping between using the umbralla for the acid rain and the shadow maul for damage and healing. I was also shifting my view a lot to ensure that I wasn't walking into danger.
