game doesn't automatically save

we (2 people )have been playing don't starve together, until 53rd day everything is just fine, the game automatically saves itself.

but since day 53 the doesn't save it self nor when we manually save it, it just freezes at the same time every round, and disconnects.  

when we try to reconnect it was the day before again, all the loot are gone, tracks on the maps are gone.

 basically we have been trying to go through the same day already 7 times.

although the game says that they fixed this bug but it didn't. 

please fix the bug and give an explanation.
