Game crashes on launch

When i launch the game, window is shown for 2 seconds then it disappears.

specs:
OS = Win 10
GPU = RX 6800 XT
CPU = Ryzen 5800X3D

things i tried:
* update drivers
* reinstall Windows
* reinstall game
* verify game cache
* delete all from mods folder
* run in admin and compatibility modes
* run in 32-bit mode
* disable antivirus
* verify that game is allowed through firewall

There is no .mdmp file in suggested location.

Steps to Reproduce

Start the game, either through Steam or running the exe file directly.




User Feedback


I had the same problem as you and I was able to fix it, just delete the "Klei" folder hosted in your documents.

Before doing this I recommend that you make a copy of the files "client_save" and "client.ini" located in "Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether" they are inside a folder that has only numbers in its name, those 2 files have all your game settings and mods so you don't lose them.

Run the game with the "Klei" folder deleted, paste and replace the new "client_save" and "client.ini" that will be created and voila, you can play again.

@budyssj thanks for the reply and suggestion, but sadly it didn't work for me. Klei folder gets recreated and same bug happens: black game window is shown for 3 seconds and then disappears.

@JesseB_Klei thank you, that fixed the issue. I have pinpointed to the exact issue. In the "AMD Software Adrenalin Edition" find graphics settings for your game, and set Anti-Aliasing to "Use application settings". I've provided a screenshot. Just changing this fixed the issue for me.
