Game crashes before I can even load into it after I finished Exspectamus.

Yesterday I went to do exspectamus to get the B.U.D.D.Y and today I can't get into the game. Every time I try to start the game it automatically closes, and I have tried to do multiple things. I have tried verifying the game files, deleting and reinstalling both steam and don't starve together, restarting my pc, just sitting for a few hours hoping that the game would fix itself, but it didn't. It's only the main game too as I'm able to play on the beta patch of the game. I don't know what is causing this bug or why it's causing this bug but it's stopping me from being able to play the game entirely unless I play on the beta patch only.
