Extra Spiders in a Spider Den

I was trying to break a level 3 den so it didn't turn into a queen, and I dealt with the 3 little waves of regular spiders and the one warrior hidden in the den. But, after killing the warrior 2 more warriors spawned after I started hitting the den. Then I started noticing every den was like that, holding an extra spider or 3 than normal, or at least respawning the spiders really really fast.
(Also, I was old Wanda so it was 100% not me taking too long.)

Steps to Reproduce

Fight a tier 3 nest
Clean it out
There will be more spiders hidden in the den after killing the usual 10 spiders

Go to bugs

were you doing that during spring or with another player near? those things increase spider amount iirc

Did you kill the warrior while on the webbing? I'm not sure the inner-workings that cause it, but sometimes killing the warrior without leading it away from the den will cause two more warriors to spawn. As far as I know it's always worked like this in DST, and I've just worked around it by leading the warrior away from the webbing before killing it.
