DST Switch edition is unplayable

I have wanted to try the new content that is being added to Dont Starve Together but the switch port is comically unoptimised making movement feel incredibly sluggish and making combat feeling almost impossible. I would be extremely grateful if this were to be addressed or even seen by some of the dev.
